Administrative Team
Braxton Holloway joined North Alabama Shoals Hospital as Chief Operating Officer in June of 2024. Holloway, who served in the position as the interim for three months, was previously Associate Administrator at North Alabama Medical Center. While at NAMC, Holloway served as Associate Administrator as well as Ethics and Compliance Officer. He oversaw daily operations and project leadership contributions to multiple strategic growth initiatives and transitions, such as the launch of the psychiatry residency program and bariatric surgery. Holloway also spent time at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tenn., where he served as Assistant Administrator, Market Director of Physician Practices and Market Practice Manager. He was also a Practice Manager at Centennial Thoracic Surgical Associates in Nashville. Holloway holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University.
Beth Loften is the Chief Nursing Officer for North Alabama Shoals Hospital. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of North Alabama graduating in December 1989. She worked at ECM Hospital beginning in 1991-2011 with most of her experience being in Cardiac Critical Care, education roles, and performance improvement. She joined the Shoals team in January 2011. She is married to Eddie Loften and has two daughters, Hannah and Sarah Kate. Outside of work Beth enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
